One of my students favorite Adventures is coming back! Bryce Canyon and Escalante Big Adventure will run in May 19-23, 2025. This is a class has always sold out so please send me a message through my contact page if you would like to be notified first, before I release it. Let's see some of the Highlights:
We start with two and a half days shooting Bryce Canyon. We get two Sunrises from Sunset Point and Two Sunsets from the Rim at or near Inspiration Point. We also get to take two hikes into this amazing canyon. The Queens Garden Loop, and we Sample a part of Fairyland Loop. These hikes will blow you away. You must feel comfortable hiking 5-6 miles in a day to take this class. You will never forget Bryce Canyon!
Then we move our camping or lodging to Escalante Utah. We meet at Devils Garden for an incredible evening session capturing golden light on the Hoodoos and rock formations right into Sunset. We stay out for Star photos and light painting if the weather is right. This is a spectacular location!
Day four we spend hiking up the Escalante River and shoot the glowing greenery against the canyon walls, and a Natural Bridge, Petroglyphs, and Cliff Ruins. It is an exciting day, and we get to cool off in the river! Day five we have the Big Finish as we do the 3.5-mile hike into one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Desert Southwest, Lower Calf Creek Falls. The entire hike is outstanding, but the waterfall at the end is over the top!
We capture the perfect glow on these falls in the late afternoon, then hike on out. What an Adventure in the Desert Southwest.
