Highlights of the Olympic National Park Big Adventure on May 20-22, 2024

Hello to, all my amazing Students,
I wanted to take a moment to highlight the Big Adventure in Olympic National Park. This three-day lesson gives us amazing opportunities to hit some of my favorite locations on the West Side of this amazing park. This class runs Monday through Wednesday, so we can have the park to ourselves without all the weekend visitors. This class also gives us the opportunity to shoot no matter what the weather has in store. We generally hit the Rainforests and waterfall the first half of the day, then after a lunch break, we hit the beaches for sunset.
The Hoh Rain Forest, The Quinault Rainforest, Sol Duck Falls, Marymere Falls and more:
There are many trails, creek and waterfalls in this area, and we will hit as many as we can. Shooting this area in May means we are in the prime of the spring green and we should expect eye popping tones and great light. Any overcast or rainy day will do, and we will have a blast in the Quinault!
We will also get to visit the Hoh Rainforest and all its amazing trails and unmatched forest greenery. This rainforest has the Hall of Mosses Trail, the Blue Spruce Trail and the Hoh River Trail, and is not to be missed! We will not run out of subject manner in this amazing area.
Of course, we will hit a couple of amazing waterfalls including Marymere Falls and its spectacular trail, and my favorite, Sol Duc Falls and Trail. This trail has one of my secret hotspots and of course the falls.

Olympic National Park Beaches:
This includes Second Beach, Rialto Beach and Ruby Beach
The Beaches in Olympic National Park are some of the most photogenic beaches in the United States. You will not be disappointed with the scenery or the images at any one of these amazing beaches that we will visit.
Lodging: There are plenty of Camping and Lodging Area in and around Forks Washington, and when you sign up for this class you will get a detailed list of options for your stay in this area.

Hiking: As far as hiking goes, I consider most of the trails to be easy. The longest beach trail will be Rialto and is about 1.5 miles in. All the Rainforest trails are around a mile long, and our hike will be to Sol Duc Falls is 1.6-mile round trip with 400 of elevation gain and will be moderate. We would never put in more than 4 or 5 miles in a day, and never all at once. But you must be able to hike that far on a forest trail to do this class.
The cost of this amazing seminar is $550 per student with a $275 deposit. This is a class that will sell out and we have a max of only 11 students, so if you want in contact as soon as you can. And of course, will all of my lesson and seminars, you get hands on instruction every step of the way, at every location. My goal is for you to learn all the professional technical skills you need, and to make sure you walk away with amazing images.
