Whidbey Island and More Big Adventure March 202? Coming Back
A Brand-New Adventure! The Whidbey Island and More Big Adventure is a six-day class that focusses on the best this amazing Island has to offer and much more. Let's dig in and see what is in store!
In this class we will focus on all of my favorite spots on Whidbey Island. We will start with Fort Casey State Park and the amazing Admiralty Head lighthouse. We will do a sunset and stay out for star photos if the weather will cooperate. Then we move on to Ebey’s Bluff Sunrise, do an amazing morning hike. After lunch we will shoot the Coupeville Pier, then back on the Fort Ebey State Park to shoot Ebey’s Beach. We move north up the Island to Deception Pass Stat Park. We will use our telephoto lenses to capture the sun setting through the Bridge. This only happens for one week a year, and it happens during this class. Then it is Rosario Head for Sunset. Truly spectacular photo opportunities!
Whenever the weather cooperates, we will put in at least a sunset, and sunrise in the Daffodil fields, which should be in full bloom! We will do a sunset from Mt Erie with a view all the way down the San Juan Islands. If we have been successful with everything, we will through in a sunset at Larrabee State Park with another View out to the San Juan Islands. This will finish up this epic 6-day Big Adventure.
This is all in the Rain Shadow and Banana Belt. Typically, the weather is better here than anywhere else in Western Washington. But this is March. We no doubt will get some rain, and the weather may cause us to miss a shift or two. That is wired into this trip. In the end, we will make use of the best weather in the best area.
